We are experiencing increased activity, we are therefore looking for you, either experienced or newly qualified, who wants to contribute to the development of advanced integrated radio systems. You will contribute to exciting and varied projects in close collaboration with other disciplines. As a systems engineer, you will work with the specification of internal system requirements, develop technical concepts, analyzes and solutions for our missile products. The work is largely project-oriented, but will be anchored in an RF specialist environment with responsibility for a wide range of tasks and products.
The department develops and manages systems within radio communication, radar and electronic warfare (EK). We primarily work with KONGSBERG’s naval targeting missiles, but also support other areas in KONGSBERG.

The tasks are varied and you will, among other things, be able to work with

• New and further development of integrated radio systems in the form of design, modeling and analysis
• Hardware architecture design and development
• Test
• RF development test
• RCS measurements
• Antenna measurements
• Integration tests
• Systemtester

We are looking for you who have

• Master’s with specialization in radio engineering, signal processing or equivalent
• Experience within RF system development and integration is a plus
• Competence in one or more of the following areas:
• Wave propagation and propagation
• RF kretsdesign
• RF measurement technique
• Radio Systemdesign
• Advantage with experience in tools such as:
• Matlab
• RF simulation tools such as CST
• Instruments such as network/spectrum analyzer and vector signal generator

The work is largely project-oriented and we are looking for you who can focus on both product and results. You will collaborate with various disciplines and it is important to have good communication and collaboration skills as well as a good knowledge of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken. You have a desire and ability to share your knowledge – that’s how we become the best!
