Kuwait Airways is activity recruiting for the position of Manager, Quality Control & Compliance Security in the Security department. In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Basic Functions and Scope:

Manager, Security Quality Control & Compliance is approved by the DGCA and reports directly to the Director of Security with access to the Chief Executive Officer / Accountable Manager. The Security Quality Control & Compliance Manager is responsible to ensure the development and implementation of the Security Management System (SeMS), including audits, inspections, tests and surveys.

Tasks and Duties:

Manager, Security Quality Control & Compliance shall be responsible to the Director, Security Department for ensuring that:

  • Ensure Kuwait Airways continuously remains in compliance with Kuwait DGCA, TSA, UK DfT, EU, BCAS and other applicable states regulations while ensuring continuous conformance with IOSA and company standards;
  • Defining Kuwait Airways’ overall security policy for acceptance by the Accountable Manager;
  • Developing and promulgating company-wide security standards and practices;
  • Shall ensure that the quality control activities cover the following areas: Hold Baggage, Passenger and Cabin Baggage, Aircraft and In- flight Security, Cargo Mail and Catering, Airline Contingency plans.

Requirements

  • 14 years experience in various aspects of Aviation Security.
  • Bachelor Degree additional to ISO Quality Management System or equivalent.
