LSE Space GmbH is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support our Software Engineering Team in Gilching or Darmstadt. The main focus of the position will be the design and development of Satellite Ground Segment Systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Provide development support during all phases of the software development life cycle as part of the product development team
• Software analysis and requirements analysis
• User interface design (mainly web)
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related field
• Knowledge and practical experience with the following technologies:
  • Experience with frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, CSS and HTML5
  • Containerization with Docker
  • Experience with development in object-oriented programming, including Java or C++
• System-minded and a team player
• Self-starter, able to work independently with little or no supervision in a small team
• Quick learner
• Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
• The following experiences would be desirable:
  • Building and maintaining multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, GITLab, Nexus and SonarQube
  • API design (REST, GraphQL)
  • Python
  • Spring framework
  • Network Protocols
  • Experience with SCRUM
  • Managing cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure using Kubernetes
  • Secure Software Development
  • Genuine interest in space and ground systems
