As a Technical Recruiter your responsibilities will include sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best technical professionals. Core Responsibilities:
- Write and post technical job descriptions
- Source potential candidates on niche platforms
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
- Coordinate with technical team leaders to forecast hiring goals and needs
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails, and make phone calls, on current job openings to passive candidates
- Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with technical professionals
- Select placements agencies to assist with recruitment process
- Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates
- Identify appropriate candidates and assess their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications
- Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
- Attend and run company booths at university job fairs and conferences
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience recruiting wireless, RF and spacecraft engineers and technicians required
- Established network of strong candidates in the wireless, RF, and spacecraft domains with demonstrated experience hiring top performers in these domains
- 10+ years of experience in technical recruitment desired
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Solid understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills
- Proven experience with various interview formats (e.g., phone, video, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases, and job boards
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management and internet search
- Experience developing recruiting strategy
- Proficiency with content management systems
