Made In Space Europe believes that industrialising space is the next critical step in humanity’s push to go deeper and farther into the cosmos than ever before. Made In Space Europe is developing robotic technologies to enable commercial activity in Earth orbit, on other planets, and beyond.

We are looking for talented, driven interns to support and assist our development of robotic arms for space. We want engineers who can understand complex mechanical systems, and then turn those designs into reality. You will use CAD and design skills to produce prototypes, assembly jigs, test setups and more to help us quantify and qualify our robots and their subsystems. You should be happy getting your hands dirty during assembly, and some experience with manufacturing is a plus. You take pride in your work and demonstrate attention to detail in everything you do.  Ideal candidates enjoy working independently while being part of a diverse multidisciplinary team creating a challenging product.

Background: Graduate of or currently enrolled in MSC in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).

Location: Luxembourg

Details: Paid internship; 3-6 months full time (40 hr/wk)
