The Cold Chain Customer Service agent will act as Single Point of Contact for customers using the Cold Chain Solution, at the same time will liaise with all the stakeholders involved to secure smooth cargo flow for the product customers. Key responsibilities

Position is tasked to support the Cold Chain customers on day to day activities, defining priorities and clarifying processes for the that drive an improved customer experience. A key role is to proactively establish mutually beneficial cooperation with all stakeholders i.e. terminals, warehouses, brokers, truckers, OPS, Finance, Sales, etc. while incorporating processes for this team.

  • Ensure availability and response to phone/E-mail/Chat inquiries from all internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor other customer entry points for customer inquiries and respond within agreed upon deadlines with all relevant information.
  • Serve as a liaison for our customers to other related entities such as terminals, freight cashiers, Shared Service Centers, and sales offices.
  • Prepare reports as required
  • Ensure accurate processing and confirmation of all customer bookings; facilitate changes as required keeping all relevant internal customers informed
  • Reconcile systems to ensure accuracy and ensure customer expectations met; record reasons for changes/amendments
  • Update systems as required.
  • Promote compliance with Local Customs and other law enforcement agencies and authorities to assist with safe and secure cargo transport.
  • Handle day to day escalations of Cold Chain main accounts.
  • Coordinates with all stakeholder’s needs ie: terminals, warehouses, brokers, truckers, Operations, Finance, Sales, etc.
  • Ensures a consistent delivery in line with Maersk brand and customer requirements.
  • Plan and deploy the understanding of customer’s business and needs within the Cold Chain team.
  • Drivers overall continuous improvement opportunities for the Cold Chain segment.
  • Maintain certifications as required for new systems and procedures.
  • Occasional travel as needed
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

We are looking for

  • College Degree preferred and / or 5 years industry experience
  • Customer Service Experience Required
  • Experience in the transportation industry is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of transportation industry, refrigerated cargo knowledge and management, experience and good understanding of local customs regulation
  • Can relate to people at all levels of an organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation both for Korean/English.
  • Has a solution / customer focused perspective.

  • Ability to communicate efficiently, quickly and provide precise details for instructions

  • Preferential to pharmaceutical logistics experiences, but not essential.
