We’re on the hunt for a Product Assurance Manager on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role :

Reporting to the Director of Product Assurance, the Quality System Manager is responsible for overseeing, organizing, coordinating and managing the QMS activities in accordance with AS9100.

Tasks :

  • QMS documentation management, document creation, review and approval.
  • Management and execution of the internal audit program and internal/external auditors
  • Coordination of the review and approval of new suppliers and subcontractors. Management of supplier quality records and approved supplier list.
  • Follow-up and coordination of corrective actions and improvement projects.
  • Implementation, review, analysis and maintenance of quality process performance indicators.
  • Coordination of QMS continuous improvement activities.

Work experience requirements :

  • 5 years of experience in quality system management, preferably in the aerospace or high-tech manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of AS9100, ISO-9001, ISO-14001 standards
  • Relevant process audit experience.
  • Ability to exercise leadership in his/her discipline
  • Ability to work collaboratively and as a team member
  • Good communicator in French and English

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.

Comments/Special Considerations :

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
