About the Opportunity

The Mechanical Draftsperson is responsible for maintaining CAD models and drawings that support the product development and product support goals of the organisation. The Mechanical Draftsperson ensures that mechanical designs are produced in accordance with required EOS quality and drafting standards. Key duties include:

  • Produce mechanical drawings and documents that satisfy defined requirements within specified time frames.
  • Manage the CAD documents including updating of BOM, CAD models and other related documents
  • Produce mechanical design models and drawings in accordance with defined quality and drafting standards.

About You

The role requires mechanical drafting knowledge and a commitment to quality, accuracy, good time management and document control. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years in similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience using CAD and PLM. (CREO and Windchill Preferred)
  • Tertiary qualification in mechanical design.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary teams desirable.
