NanoAvionics is a small satellite mission integrator focused on delivering new generation satellite buses and propulsion systems for the satellite applications market. With facilities in North America and Europe, NanoAvionics’ team consists of more than 130 driven and skillful employees. We have over 90 successful satellite missions and commercial projects under our belt, and we are still counting.

Our Software team is looking for a Mission Control Engineer who understands the language of the satellites, helps operators to talk with them, and achieve successful missions. Your written code will send radio signals to space and guide the spacecraft through the sky.

 

AS A MCS ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

  • Support existing projects and maintain the system up to date
  • Support different activities on ground (simulations, testing, etc.)
  • Develop, implement and integrate new functionalities
  • Troubleshoot possible problems within MCS or interfaced subsystems
  • Proactively communicate with customers and suppliers

WE EXPECT YOU TO:

  • Education in IT or Physics fields;
  • 2 years of experience in high-level languages (GO, C++, Python or other);
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Influx DB);
  • Experience with messaging systems (NATS, MQTT);
  • Experience in Web Development is an advantage;
  • Fluent English (spoken and written);
  • Initiative and proactivity to find the best and fastest ways to get the right decision;
  • Good communication skills

SALARY:

  • Starting from 28000 eur/month gross
  • The final offer will depend based on the level of competencies and experience
