About the Opportunity
Due to the exponential growth enjoyed by EOS in the last few years, the need arises for an enthusiastic Network Support Engineer to provide ICT network support on a full-time basis. The primary focus is to attend to ICT network incidents as well as enhance the network in a prompt manner. If you are in a Network Engineering Analyst or support role, and would like to opportunity to work a variety of tasks across Australian and Global networks, this could be the role for you. Key duties are:
- To support the existing network infrastructure – maintain and monitor the health and performance of networks in multiple sites
- Assist with design and implementation of networks in new locations
- Assist with documentation and asset management of the network infrastructure
- Assist with monitoring of the EOS security Layers
- Support and assistance with server management and storage etc on Microsoft OS and Hyper-V environments
To be successful in this role you will be solutions oriented, will have demonstrated communication skills and customer focus, with strong documentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong knowledge in the areas of networking and security principles.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
