Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening on a dual level req for a Sr Principal / Principal Computer Systems Security Architect in Huntsville, AL. Selected candidate designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications:

BQs for a Sr Principal Computer Systems Security Architect are High school diploma or GED and 13 years applicable experience. Will also consider BS Degree and 9 years applicable experience.

BQs for a Principal Computer Systems Security Architect are High school diploma or GED and 9 years applicable experience. Will also consider BS Degree and 5 years applicable experience.

  • Windows Developer
  • Strong Powershell SME
  • Security and STIG experience with Windows
  • Active Directory/Group Policy
  • Active Directory integration in a mixed environment
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications are:

  • Deploying Windows virtual machines
  • Customizing Windows images
  • Kerberos implementation
