We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and experienced Avionics Hardware System Engineer (f/m/d) to join our special-projects rocketry team. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping prototyping and production costs at an absolute minimum. Your Tasks

• Analysis of system requirements based on ECSS and generate subsystem requirements
• Plan and execute test campaigns with the sub-systems
• Define, simulate, and review the safety-critical electronic hardware according to requirement specification
• Specification and support of system validation and verification according to acceptable means of compliance
• Verify various system and subsystem level designs and the integrations between them;
• Close cooperation with other disciplines

Your Qualificatons

• A degree in electronics engineering or an equivalent qualification;
• Relevant experience in aerospace or space sectors and motivation to participate in the NEW Space
• Knowledge and proven experience on FMEA, FMECA, FTA is big plus
• Fair Knowledge on ECSS is considered advantageous
• A good understanding of system engineering (mission definition, design, verification & validation)
• A good understanding of Electronic hardware designs
• Ability to review design schematics
• Knowledge on electromechanical actuators is a plus
• Knowledge on Altium Designer is a plus
• Ability to work effectively and independently
• Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
