Your Tasks

  • Trajectory Optimizationz
  • Launcher ascent or lander descent optimization
  • Concurrent Design Studies for space missions
  • Development of solutions to technical (mathematical and dynamical) problems in cooperation with experts
  • Support to project, scientists and industry, participation in reviews General Flight Dynamics operations engineering activities
  • Interact with the mission management team to make a link between performances and safety

Your Qualificatons

  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, aerospace, mathematics or physics
  • Skills to develop solutions to technical (mathematical and dynamical) problems in cooperation with customers and experts
  • Rocket trajectory design and optimisation
  • Local and global optimisation techniques, algorithms and applications
  • Space environmental models
  • Analytical, semi-analytical and numerical integration techniques
  • Covariance and Monte Carlo analysis
  • Ability to define, implement, validate and operate optimization solution which applies the above service tasks using e.g. Unix and/or Linux scripting languages, MATLAB, Python, etc…
  • Proven experience with Astos Solutions
  • Experience using STK, Savior, or other similar mission planning tools
  • Ability to coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with the ESOC environment
  • Will to take operational responsibility in multi-discipline teams
  • The ability to multi-task efficiently; working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously
