Our Mission Management team is searching for a passionate, motivated, and skilled person to fill in the position of a Mission Assurance Engineer (m/f/d). This role allows you to work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for developing and implementing top notch engineering solutions in the aerospace field.

Your Tasks

• Perform quality control and assurance activities on various engineering processes that affect the missions
• Support the AIT team with launch vehicle and OTV assembly
• Develop and maintain mission review gates
• Assessing, developing, and improving assembly, integration, and testing procedures and processes
• Perform NDI & NDT on elements, components, and subsystems
• Enforcing Mission Assurance policies and procedures during AIT activities

Your Qualificatons

• Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering
• 2+ years of work experience with quality assurance, mission assurance, satellites, launch vehicles, or space systems
• Experience with S/C AIT activities
• Experience with environmental testing (vacuum, vibration, shock, thermal)
• Strong lateral thinking skills, high social intelligence, and the ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team
• Personal mobility to move at the launch site location for the implementation phase
• Cost and risk awareness and business acumen complete your profile
• Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
