We are a German Space SME specialized in satellite propulsion components and systems development, manufacture and integration, located near Bremen. For a job opening starting as soon as possible, and for our Bremen area headquarters, Omnidea-RTG is looking for a Project Manager in Space Propulsion.

Your duties

Ensure adherence to Internal, ECSS and MIL standards as well as compliance to Safety and Cleanliness work (including Clean Room). Organization of all the work related to Product Certifications. Assess reliability, availability, maintainability and safety. Support testing activities and work with project teams through issues resolution, especially management of Non-conformances and the need to issue Requests for Deviation/Acceptance and Waivers. Together with project managers accompany incoming inspections.

Your tasks

• Production of Product Development related documents such as the control plans, development plans and Risk Assessment/Management Plans
• Production of Process Assurance documentation (qualification plans and test reports)
• Production of product configuration related documentation such as the CIDL, ABCL, MIFC, Technical and functional Specifications
• Review of documents such as Critical Items List (CIL), Declared Materials, Parts and Processes List (DMPPL), as well as the Interface control document and other technical drawings.

Your background

• Minimum of BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials); MS preferred
• One or plus years of PA/QA job experience. Previous PA tasks in fields such as Space, Aeronautics or Defense are preferred. As an option experience in quality control in the similar fields can also be counted. Knowledge and experience in test methodologies are preferred in hydraulic pressure components
• Skilled in computer office applications such as Excel, Word, Project and Visio
• Experience in ERM software (i.e. Odoo, Projektron) is an advantage
• Strong skills in English, spoken and written (min. C1 equivalent). German skills are preferred

Additional characteristics

• Detail oriented, time management and prioritization skills
• You are self-confident and have good communication and negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.
• You enjoy the possibility to work, for small periods of time, abroad. Availability to travel for 3-4 days, on a 1-2 weeks’ notice time is expected.
• Availability for travelling to support project meetings, suppliers auditing, etc. European Driver’s license preferred
