Our engineers and technician staff support the missions from concept, through development, launch and mission operations.

Peratons Space Technologies Services is seeking a senior systems engineer to join our team in Pasadena, California. We are seeking a candidate who can develop requirements, as well as perform verification, interface development, and Test planning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements development and systems verification and validation for space systems.
  • Create and maintain specifications and system verification plans; conduct and write reports on tests.
  • Flow down requirements to develop subsystem level specifications and interface control documents.
  • Ensure efficient integration of subsystem designs and verification events into the system level plan.
  • Lead Systems Engineering activities on projects
  • Prepare and make presentations for reviews
  • Provide schedule estimates, coordinated with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Mentor junior engineering staff

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or Mathematics
  • 20+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience developing system requirements
  • Experience using a requirements management database such as DOORS
  • Prior experience with NASA or DOD
