SatixFy develops a line of satellite communication modems with Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Electronically Steered Multi Beam Antennas (ESMA) to support the most advanced standards, such as DVB-S2X.

Job description

    • Develop Physical Layer firmware for satellite standards
    • Participate in the development of low level drivers, BSP in Bare metal or RTOS environment
    • Collaborate with HW team and Participate in the early HW development verification SW testing
    • Design of firmware architecture, from top-level down to block-level
    • Define and write high-level design documents for DSP processor
    • Optimize and debug firmware for performance and throughput
    • Development in C, assembler and core specific instructions

Requirements:

    • B.Sc in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or related discipline
    • 3+ years of experience in low-level real-time/embedded programming and firmware architecture
    • Experience in C programming language
    • Experience in physical layer (L1) communication protocols implementation
    • Experience with reading HW specifications and developing low level drivers
    • Self-learning capabilities, adapt to changes and study new technical fields
    • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
    • Knowledge in digital signal processing algorithms and/or RF systems – Important Advantage
    • Experience in RF lab work and testing equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, etc.) – Advantage
    • Basic knowledge of Matlab and Python – Advantage
