Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate data and work with materials department personnel to understand root cause of issues and recommend course(s) of action for improvements.
  • Represent the organization in settings with suppliers and customers for the purpose of integrating selected supply chain solutions.
  • Coordinate with customer teams and suppliers so approved parts can be implemented in the selected supply chain program in a timely fashion, run and maintain data to help facilitate the continuity of supply for parts in programs and when challenges arise with parts on programs, use the tools we have to problem solve issues in a timely manner, resolve disputes involving in the SMI programs and act as escalation contact.
  • Understand site and customer financial metrics, especially the materials overhead, inventory levels, and E&O on Plexus financial performance.  Collaborate with site and regional management to ensure financial objectives (including days of inventory), E&O, and other metrics are adequately managed and demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Provide customer support to sales group by representing materials in sales presentations and periodic customer meetings and interactions, including but not limited to potential customer visits, quarterly business reviews, etc.

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Maintain the Master List of parts and update the status of parts on programs.
  • Maintain lead-times for parts on programs.
  • Work with several internal customers to keep the contracts up-to-date.
  • Maintain data fields in JDE to facilitate the removal or parts on supply chain programs; this includes the coordination of liability that the suppliers ask us to take.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers the appropriate timing of adding parts to programs.
  • Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Three (3) years of related experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft (MS) Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill

Work Environment:

  • The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
