JOB TARGET
Preligens has developed efficient monitoring tools based on an automated analysis of geospatial information and multiple other sources. By combining state-of-the-art AI techniques in both Computer Vision and Deep Learning, Preligens provides its customers with more reliable and more precise information, thus enabling faster interventions for a safer environment.
Our fast growth (x5/year) is fueled by international development (UK, Germany, US) and development of new product lines.
You will be joining the AI Engineering team, a dedicated bunch responsible for crafting and continuously improving our custom-made AI platform and frameworks. Key features include building and visualising datasets on remote sensing images, training, evaluating and optimizing fully configurable CNN models over time, and much more.
MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
As Fullstack Developer, you will have two important objectives:
- Take the front-end part of our AI platform to the next level. From data visualization to turning our configuration files into beautiful pieces of UI, you will have plenty to experience with.
- Help with the ongoing design and development of our back-end infrastructure and data pipelines (using Python, Elasticsearch, and other sweet technologies).
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Build a custom front-end for our AI Platform using modern frameworks (React, D3, … )
- Design, develop & maintain our back-end infrastructure and automated pipelines
- Implement new features in our custom CLI and Rest API, built in Python
- Work closely with all teams and business experts to understand the end-users needs
- Ensure the code quality of our frameworks, by applying good practices and coaching others
- Come up with new ideas to push the performances of our AI platform forward
INFLUENCE ON RESULTS
Must-haves:
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong skills in React JS, Python 3, Docker and databases (any kind)
- Strong understanding of how web technologies and web softwares work in general
- Passion for shipping quality code and for automated testing
- Experience with cloud infrastructure implementation (AWS, Google)
- Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and reporting capabilities
Nice-to-haves:
- Interest and basic skills in UX/UI design & data visualization
- Experience working with data processing and pipeline technologies
- Experience working with Elasticsearch
- Understanding of deep learning and its processes
- Experience working with Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm
- First experience as responsible for end to end software development
