Develop your career in project management
You will be part of the project management organization in a truly global environment. Here, you will manage projects related to our Transfer of Technology (ToT) programmes, and which is becoming a more and more important parameter for Terma’s export of Surveillance Radar Solutions.
“You will not be alone with your projects. Spending your days working with skilled engineers and experienced project managers, you will quickly feel the drive and motivation that shapes our team. We are really good at creating a positive atmosphere in a sometimes hectic but extremely rewarding work environment,” explains Morten Rasmussen, Director, SMS Security Programmes.
Your primary tasks
You will have responsibility for controlling all facets of the project and you will be communicating directly with customers and end users. Part of your responsibilities will be to advise your customers (Recipients) in technical matters, typically within production technique, configuration management and quality assurance.
You will be responsible for contractually agreed cost and schedule.
A central part of your tasks will be to ensure that your stakeholders are continuously kept in the loop. You create understanding and commitment by addressing risks including handling of subsequent corrective actions on time.
Other disciplines will be:
- Being PoC (Point of Contact) on all matters including technical queries, HW- and SW-deliveries, document transfer, etc.
- Support and participate in technical transfer reviews, at Recipient as well as Recipient’s subcontractors
- Get assignment of resources from the specialist functions around Terma’s organization on task to task basis
- Participate in sustainment and improvement of the expertise and tools used in Terma’s ToT function
On a daily basis you will refer to the Senior Manager for Transfer of Technology (ToT).
About 60 travel days per year may be expected.
“At our offices in Lystrup, you will work with dedicated colleagues and exiting high-end technology. Our radars are part of security and safety or defense applications – e.g. protect infrastructure, coastlines and airports worldwide. This means that you will interact with a range of different customers, cultures and market segments as you ensure that your projects stay on track,” elaborates Morten Rasmussen.
