Navigation Software Engineer

Qascom is looking for a Navigation Software Engineer within the Aerospace & Defence domain, based in our office in Bassano del Grappa. The resource will be involved in the development of high-end positioning navigation and timing engines for Galileo Test User Receivers and robust Navigation techniques for Space and Drones supporting major National and International projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and Software implementation (C++) and in-flight experimentation of robust and high accuracy navigation techniques for GNSS multi-constellation / multi-frequency receivers.
  • Contribution to the evolution of Qascom GNSS receiver products navigation techniques for Space and Drones applications.
  • Contribution to the software and technical documentation update and configuration
  • Support to Technical management of navigation projects, involving interactions with customers (major aerospace industries and space agencies).

Required skills:

  • Master’s degree in electrical or telecommunication engineering.
  • Basic knowledge advanced of GNSS positioning processing techniques.
  • Knowledge of GNSS systems and GNSS receiver processing.
  • Good programming skills (preferably C++) and industrial experience on software development, testing, version control (GIT) and CI/CD;
  • 1y+ years of experience as Software Developer.
