About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Systems Engineer to join our existing Aerospace teams! With mentoring and training, you will help to provide systems engineering support to some of our incredibly exciting and innovative aerospace projects and programmes covering a wide range of air platforms including Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS).

You will be an essential part of the team in a position that grows and develops your existing skill-sets. This is a unique opportunity to learn in-post about a range of aerospace technologies and domains. This may include anything from avionic systems through flight performance to design modifications.

 

Your role will develop skills, eventually being able to technically lead small projects working with more senior colleagues.

What do I need?

You’ll need experience in some of the following areas would be desirable, but not essential.

  • A relevant background in aerospace and engineering either through relevant study
    (a minimum of HNC standard/equivalent to degree-level) or relevant practical experience (such as a recognised modern apprenticeship).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A working knowledge of general Systems Engineering principles.
  • Understanding of air vehicle technology and future challenges
  • Highly desirable criteria includes previous relevant industrial experience
