The company is hiring an IT Support Technician to integrate the IT/Infrastructure team in Portugal. The objective will involve improving the IT and infrastructure to the highest standards, supporting the production teams across all

Main Accountabilities:

  • Update and maintenance of the entire inventory of the Computer Department;
  • Help manage all IT requests;
  • Preparing the workspace for new employees, regarding location, connectivity, peripherals and
    workstations/laptops, as well as location changes;
  • Workstation migration;
  • Support in all the IT Department’s Hardware and Software procurements, tailored by cost/benefit and specific requirements;
  • Install/configure/maintenance on the company equipment related to IT;
  • Perform core tasks of the Support Operations Team;
  • Travel to other locations (in Portugal or other countries) to perform equipment assembly or prepare system hardware.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate, bachelor or technical background (Computer Science related field);
  • 3 years of experience in IT support/Helpdesk, experience in customer service;
  • Installation and configuration of computers, network systems and applications;
  • System troubleshooting and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
  • Experience in installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows, GNU / Linux OS;
  • Experience in Procurement of IT equipment;
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies;
  • Fluent English and Portuguese, both written and spoken;
  • Team player with good communication skills;
  • Motivated by new technologies.
