Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Collins Aerospace is currently looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its A220 Nacelle integration unit in Mirabel Quebec to support its assembly operations and in troubleshooting production related issues.

WORK SHIFT: EVENING SHIFT (MONDAY – FRIDAY, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the shop floor personnel with technical solutions to efficiently resolve production challenges.
  • Drive problem solving initiatives & challenge status QUO.
  • Owns creation and maintains manufacturing process documents.
  • Ensure that process respect all quality requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and defect reduction.
  • Participate in tool design reviews to ensure tools are feasible, reduce build times and program costs during fabrication.
  • Be an active member in continuous improvements events and implement actions from events.
  • Make sure that all process are compliant to Collins EH&S polices.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Must be bilingual, able to read and write in English and French.
  • Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CGP
