Duties and Responsibilities

Applies scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions. Ensures novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools.

• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
• Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components.
• Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
• Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.
• Communicates with internal and external customers effectively.
• Any other duties as required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering Course – preferably Electronics Engineering or ECE.
• Preferably with at least 5 years of involvement in a design organization producing component level design and Research and Development;
• Experience in Testing and New Product Introduction.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal customers, foreign counterparts, and other teams.
