Right now, Terma is searching for a highly experienced and talented RF and/or Microwave Specialist for the Radar domain.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled RF and/or Microwave Specialist to be a part of our RF specialist team within our Radar Transceivers Development department. You will mainly be working with receiver and transmitter circuit chains from baseband to X- and Ku band. Among others, we are working with technologies within signal processing, decimation, ADC/DAC, noise figure, signal-noise in analog-digital circuits, modulation, up-down converting, RF amplifiers, PLLs, LNAs, microstrip and strip line techniques and slotted waveguide antennas etc.
We are looking for a specialist who can bring unique design solutions to our product line, with a drive for increased performance and reliability, whilst optimizing cost and maintainability. The ideal candidate will be versatile with both a holistic system and detailed element view, highly motivated and excited about technology and quality.
Education and experience
We expect the candidate to have an education such as Bachelor of Science or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent with proven, practical experience in RF and/or microwave research and development.
Besides, we expect the following:
- You have 5+ years of job experience within in the RF industry
- You will have extensive experience in RF and/or Microwave and electronic design, with the ability to take RF and circuit designs from simulation to production ready equipment
- You possess high understanding of RF systems engineering, architecture, development, design principles and experience in several of above technologies
- You have experience in the use of Microwave Office and CST Electromagnetic Simulation Software
- You can make use of Cadence for schematic capture and PCB design
