Primary Responsibilities:

Join the Engineering Hydraulic Systems team, supporting design and development of Hydraulic Equipment as well as manufacturing processes for Root Cause and Corrective Actions analysis. Address issues resolution in a team-working environment; develop design solutions to problems of varying complexity, assuring high quality technical content and timely closure. Prepare, review and maintain the program documentations, engineering schematics, specifications and technical analyses necessary to support product development and industrialization.

  • Technical ownership of Hydraulic Equipment throughout product life-cycle
  • Manage product improvement modifications or product evolutions in accordance with schedule and budget
  • Reporting project status data to Engineering Management and Program Office in support of periodic project and program reviews, attend teleconference, design reviews and program status reviews
  • Operate in a team environment with other functional areas, in particular with manufacturing engineering and operations to support best solution for design to cost and to analyse technical issues to isolate Root Cause and define Corrective Actions.
  • Plan and execute tests in laboratory environment and deeply analyse results, write clear and complete test reports in good English
  • Ensuring compliance with customer specification and qualification documentation.
  • Interface the customers and manage technical aspects with suppliers
  • Coordination of engineering activity with other departments
  • Condensate Customer technical requirements into technical specifications, complying with aerospace qualification and certification standards
  • Manage technical tasks to evaluate production deviations
  • Follow all set of quality standards and engineering principles and best practices, direct instructions for manuals, assembly instructions, testing and troubleshooting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in an engineering discipline (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred)
  • Capability to understand engineering drawings
  • Team player, demonstrating positive and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to organize and execute tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and strategize for better design solutions
  • Good use of Microsoft Office Tools,
  • Good use of Matlab and Simulink environment
  • Preference for selection:
    • Knowledge of Hydraulic Equipment
    • Knowledge of Mechanical Design
    • Engineering experience preferably in an aerospace development environment, including experience in complex projects.
    • Understanding of aerospace product development and certification processes
    • Understanding of reliability and maintainability
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes

Language:

  • Good Italian and English (written and oral)

Location:

  • Via San Maurizio al Lambro 20, Brugherio – (MB) Italy

Travel:

  • Availability to short/medium duration travels, domestic and international is required
