Project Lead Buyer in the SCM Team (m / f / d)

As part of the Swiss technology group RUAG, RUAG Space GmbH is the leading company in the field of space technology in Austria. With more than 240 employees, we develop and manufacture electronics, mechanisms and thermal insulation for commercial and scientific satellites, space probes and rockets in Austria.

In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement of components and services for our space modules in the supply chain management team.

Your tasks:

  • Obtaining offers from suppliers
  • Negotiation and conclusion of (framework) agreements with suppliers
  • Identification and implementation of savings and cost optimization measures in acquisitions
  • Procurement of components – technical & operational purchasing according to the project plan
  • Supplier management – supplier evaluation, supplier development
  • Participation in optimizing ongoing processes
  • Support on quality issues with reference to suppliers
  • Close cooperation with project management and engineering
  • Master data maintenance in the ERP system
  • Control of the delivered goods / accompanying documents

Your skills:

  • Technical and / or economic training – FH, university or HTL, HAK (+ professional experience)
  • Independent, independent and careful way of working
  • Good IT skills – MS Office and ERP experience
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Technical interest and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Perseverance and flexibility
  • Professional experience in purchasing
  • B driving license

Monthly gross salary: from 3191.09.- with the possibility of a significant overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.
