SatSure is looking for an Engineering Manager interested in building, scaling and operating geo spatial software platforms to support state-of-the-art products, these products need to scale to millions of daily transactions with 99.99% uptime while allowing continuous and rapid deployments across new business lines.
Responsibilities Include:
- Building, scaling and operating geo spatial software platforms to support products.
- Managing project scope and timelines.
- Facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning and retrospective meeting.
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers and other developers regarding progress on the long-term technology roadmap
- Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular mentoring.
Requirements
Qualities we are looking for:
Experience: 5-8 years in product development with a minimum of 2+ years of experience leading a team of developers.
- Technically prior hands-on experience designing and implementing a highly scalable architecture for the web and mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining APIs for mobile and web applications using Python.
- Hands-on experience in design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Databases like PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with Product Managers and UI/UX designers
- Experience with core web-enabling technologies on cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, MS Azure, GCP, etc.
- Strong knowledge of the Scrum framework or any other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Crystal etc.
