Primary Responsibilities/Key Result Areas:

• Participate in analysis, design, specification, implementation and test of Ground Gateway, Antenna and RF systems being part of a team and own, follow-up and implement testing and implementation of Gateway ground systems
• Perform transmission analysis and testing, in particular link/level budget calculations, MATLAB analysis, development of Excel VBA/Software based tools, block/design drawing and other detailed studies in support of gateway ground systems
• Responsible for developing test procedures and scripts to ensure new architectures are properly vetted in the lab or in over-the-air testing
• Write technical requirements, specifications, interfaces, test plans and procedures for supporting the
• Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment programs
• Support the transition of the new products into operations ensuring the proper tools and training are in place including life cycle support

Who We Are Looking For (More About You):

Skills/Competencies:

• Experience across both fixed, and mobile earth stations and teleport/gateway solutions for video/data transmissions (including some of the following; antenna, HPA, waveguide, switch matrix, converters, modulators, electrical & optical inter-facility links as well as DVB or VSAT / broadband or broadcast platforms), content/data/IF/RF spectrum measurement
• Experienced in various ground monitoring & control and any other kind of monitoring systems for e.g., Network Management Systems, Element Management Systems or Operational Support Systems
• Understanding of GEO, MEO and LEO telecommunications satellite technologies
