The Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of Global Service operational and customer SLA reporting, and maintaining appropriate data standards and documentation. This role will provide Analytics support and reporting to various functions within Global Services to other departments as needed. This role will provide Analytics support to all functions within GS and also extending to other functions outside GS as need by identifying trends and anomalies that will assist operational teams and management in detecting operational and contractual customer SLAs / OLAs performance that could impact Customers and assist in making business decisions.


  • Accountable for accuracy and timely delivery of operational and customer performance reports
  • Responsible for complete lifecycle of reporting in the respect of “Create, maintain, optimize and support new and existing reports”
  • Ensure integrity of all reports and data through maintenance and documentation of data sources, definitions and calculations used for metrics
  • Work with respective stakeholders responsible for upstream/downstream systems like CRM, Ticketing, Data Warehouse, data backbone and data lake systems, ensuring relevant standards for data collection, consistency and data integrity to ensure error free reporting
  • Formulate & execute quality checks to ensure error free reporting for both new and existing reports
  • Create impactful analyses to improve operational efficiency, automation and customer experience
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reports as determined by the needs of the business
  • Drive automation to ensure existing or new reports can be generated and refreshed in a timely manner
  • Participate in testing, validation, and approval process for processes and systems that involve operational metrics and KPIs


  • Excellent analytical skills to present to create analyses that tell a “story” focused on insights and data
  • Strong understanding of trend and data analytics, ability to provide meaningful analysis
  • Ability to convey complex technical issues internally to both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple time-sensitive tasks in a demanding environment



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Analytics or related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience in computer science, business, statistics, mathematics or data analytics or related field
  • Hands-on SQL experience for data extraction, manipulation, and analyses; including stored procedures, complex joins, creation of views, and database scripting
  • Experience manipulating data sets using R or Python and handling large scale unstructured data
  • Knowledge & experience with Microsoft Excel / Power Bi (external data, pivot tables, etc)


  • Master’s degree in computer science, business, statistics, mathematics, data analytics, engineering or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and present the results with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity and experience with Machine Learning and Data Mining
  • Good understanding of statistical concepts and experience with business applications of statistical methods (e.g., hypothesis testing, regressions, sampling) & predictive analytics
