Share My Space is a “New Space” start-up in the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) market. The company was incorporated in 2017 and develops ground infrastructure and software solutions for safe navigation in increasingly crowded orbits. Our current activities range from building space surveillance capabilities (with unique disruptive telescope technology in the world) to on orbit collision risk predictions, autonomous navigation, and artificial intelligence for commercial and governmental satellite operators. The ambition is to provide the most complete service to ensure safe and sustainable use of space. To support this ambition, we have secured important private and public funding . The team already gathers 13 employees, including top tier engineers and scientists. Orbit sustainability and sovereignty for space surveillance are becoming hot subjects of concerns in the last months at the European level. We are about to grow significantly in 2022, 2023 with open positions in both its technical and commercial teams.

The Role

New product launch

Share My Space is always beta testing new products and services. A part of the role will be to
promote and commercialize a new satellite tracking offer under the supervision of the Head of Sales
and in coordination with the Marketing team.

Support to Business Development effort (50%)

  • Prospection of institutions and private companies (worldwide)
  • Need collection (satellite operators)
  • Opportunity identification and qualification
  • RDV preparation
  • Preparation of presentations and sales materials
  • Participation to the whole sales process
  • Preparation of contents
  • Update of customer data in the CRM

Support to pré-sales (50%)

  • Scouting of agencies strategies and news and request for proposals that could fit into SMS
    business scope
  • Participation to the answers for the call for tenders

Profile and Background

  • We are looking for an highly enthusiast personality
  • Engineering, Business or relevant degree in progress or ending
  • Passion for space and ability to understand satellite operations
  • At least 6 months / 1 year work of experience in other internships or any relevant context
  • English language mandatory, French language is useful but not mandatory
  • International students from and outside of Europe are welcome
