In the frame of SITAEL Comany, you will be employed as a member of the space-to-earth communication subsystem team, being in charge of the development of space communication subsystems for platform operations and data offloading of Earth observation payloads and you will be accountable to the communications system engineering manager for supporting the design of system architectures and communication subsystems for satellite communication from high-level specifications and in the definition and implementation of the Comm subsystem development and verification approach, support in drafting the corresponding documents, i.e. design specifications, test plans, design justification documents, interface specification documents (ICDs).




  • GS – SDR development and maintenance
  • GS – Ground Station Manager development and maintenance (tool for KSAT service management and monitoring)
  • GS – Mission Planner development and maintenance (operational support tool for satellite and ground activity planning)
  • GS – Support for integration, validation and testing activities
  • GS – Operational Product Validation Support
  • GS – Support conduct E2E and RFCT test operations
  • GS – follow Spacecraft Planner developments of external suppliers
  • GS- design interfaces and specifications to be passed to suppliers (Spacecraft Planner)




  • Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics or equivalent;
  • 3 years minimum experience in design, integration and testing of communication systems from equipment level up to system level;
  • Experience in Software Defined Radio mission specific firmware.
  • Experience in communication subsystem data analysis and performance presentation.
  • Good communication, cooperation and organisational skills.
  • Personal attitude to teamwork.
  • Able to work under pressure with strict planning.
  • Willingness to take responsibility.
  • Good analytical and system-oriented thinking skills.
  • Able to handle multitasking.
  • Cost and schedule awareness.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Firmware development for SDR
  • Performance measurements of end-to-end communication subsystems and functional testing
