Job purpose

  • The intern shall be responsible for designing mission concepts and preliminary designs for Cubesat missions using MA61C.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Interaction for stakeholders to assess end-users stories
  • Derive requirements from end-users stories
  • Perform budget (mass, power, volume, data, and cost) trade-offs for missions
  • Creating 3d models of the designs
  • Support logistics and administration
  • Represent the company in local events

Qualifications and requirements

  • Currently doing a Master or a last year Bachelor in space system engineering in the UK
  • Experience in space system design
  • Knowledge of the Cubesat standard
  • Background of space projects during the studies or before
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Located close to Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Oxfordshire, UK
  • Fluent in English. Knowing any other European language is an advantage. Working conditions
  • Work remotely most of the time, with some visit to the local office in Harwell (1-2 a week)
  • Start date: Immediate
