Job Description :

A position of Trainee Analysis and Predictions of the Behavior of a Welding (M / F) has just opened within the STELIA Aerospace teams in Colomiers.

Integrated into the calculation team of the Mechanical Systems Installation department within the Design Office, you will be responsible for carrying out studies on the possibility of generating calculation methods, in order to justify the structural strength of the welds, as well as their behaviour.

Missions :

Your main missions will be as follows:

  • Build the current inventory of weld analyzes in the installation of mechanical systems (studies, tests)
  • Do a bibliographic search for weld analysis methods.
  • Evaluate behaviors using the Finite Element Method
  • Correlate theoretical results with test results

Your profile

Training : You are in Master 2 Aeronautical Design and Calculation training, in a Mechanical Engineering School

Know-how : You have the following skills:

  • Structural mechanics
  • Finite Element Method (Patran or Hypermesh / Nastran)
  • Outils Office (Word, Excel, VBA)
  • UNIX environment

Skills : You are curious, able to work with people from different business backgrounds.

Language skills :

Fluent French

English intermediate level
