STELIA Aerospace is looking for an intern for a period of xx months, based in Saint-Nazaire.
You will be attached to the site’s Design Office.
This internship offer is to be filled from March 2021.
Details of missions
On the Saint-Nazaire production site of Stelia Aerospace, pipes are manufactured, in particular for the installation of mechanical systems in the aircraft (eg: hydraulic, commercial, etc.).
To support this production, a design office is present on the site. This office aims to provide technical solutions in design for T&P systems including welded pipe systems.
In order to improve our ability to design welded tubes, we are looking for an intern who will be responsible for:
- Optimize the tool under CATIA in order to automatically or semi-automatically fill in the characteristic information of these tubes
- Model the welding environment (for titanium tubes), ie the “glove boxes” (welding box under neutral atmosphere), in order to validate the manufacturability of these parts from the design part.
You will be based on the Saint-Nazaire site but you will also be supported by CATIA tools experts for the T&P sector who are in Toulouse.
Travel to the Toulouse site of STELIA Aerospace is expected.
Profile & Skills
License (BAC + 3) in Design, mechanics and / or materials, you know how to use CATIA software in an advanced way.
Design of mechanical systems using CATIA, VBA, Office Suite, good knowledge of Excel Windows 10.
Curious, proactive and force of proposal, you have good interpersonal skills to interact with designers, preparers and welders, and good writing skills.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
