Job description

As a Systems Engineer in Radar Software, you get a central role in developing the right Radar Tracker Software solutions and become responsible for the Radar Tracking system functionality and performance. Likewise, you will be the focal point of the system architecture for the Tracker Software. Furthermore, there will be some minor technical project management tasks related to the Radar Tracker Software development.

You must understand, interpret and break down user requirements and guarantee that the overall system requirements are well defined and documented. In addition, you must identify and manage the overall system and architecture solution and be responsible for system verification and validation. You will also play a key role in further feature developments for the Radar Tracker.

The working day will be varied where you switch between different work situations. Some tasks require that you work concentrated and independently with a development task or documentation, while in other situations you act in a coordinating role and solve problems, in close cooperation with your colleagues, as well as internal or external customers. The Radar Tracker team is organized as a SCRUM team of 3-5 developers, which is part of the overall Radar Software platform team of 20+ developers. In addition, you will be working with another Systems Engineer responsible for the Core Radar Software.

You will, by virtue of your holistic approach to technical systems, become a significant sparring partner for both the sales and development organization and participate in tender activities and solution descriptions prior to the conclusion of the contract. In this position you must expect some travel activity, approximately 5-10 days a year.

With your strong skills, personality and drive, you are able to win respect across our organization. You master stakeholder management and with your communication skills and your focus on ensuring the right solutions, you navigate naturally around a cross-disciplinary environment where solutions and deliveries are the result of effective collaboration.

You are a team player who makes the team achieve its goals.
