We are looking for an IT / Cyber Security Engineer to help us implement and manage critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions and services for our customers in space sector.

This full-time and permanent position is based at our headquarter in Darmstadt and expected starting date is as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to prove yourself in a challenging environment, being (or becoming) the IT / Cyber Security Expert in a multi-disciplinary team providing ICT Engineering and Secure Connectivity services to the space, defence and energy sectors.

What You Will Focus on

• Capture the specific customer needs and design a robust, fit for purpose critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions
• Articulate features and benefits of complex designs, technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical audience through professionally written submissions and orally delivered presentations
• Follow up and deliver critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects from requirement engineering to transfer to operation and provide training on the engineered IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions when required
• Operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of the security aspects of critical IT infrastructure, including systems supporting critical operations
• Technical support in proposals production

What You Bring

• A university degree in Computer Sciences (or equivalent)
• Experience implementing and operating critical IT infrastructure environments, working in mixed operating system environments, managing technical service transition, creation and maintenance of support documentation
• Familiar with the security strategy, roadmap, SIEM/Network forensics solutions and security assurance to improve overall IT security
• Strong goal-oriented and planning capabilities, coupled with very good problem-solving skills and a pronounced customer focus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, be able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives
• Interested in learning and dealing with modern technologies

• Experience with the design and implementation of Security Operation Centre (SOC) Infrastructure and Operational Concepts
