The Position

The position is for a senior sales director, responsible for expanding our business in particular the established European space market, based on our existing products and services. By ‘established European space market’ is understood institutions, agencies and commercial organizations with well established business models such as EUTELSAT, SES, InmarSat, OHB, Airbus and Thales.

You will work in close coordination with our delivery teams, to formulate the direction that each domain should take, based on your market insights. Together you will formulate strategies, develop capabilities and solutions, create marketing and sales material, and expand our business.

This position is based at our Head Office in Darmstadt. It is full-time and permanent and expected starting date will be immediately.

About you

You know that delivery and sales must work closely together, because selling is a team effort and what has been sold also has to be delivered. You can bridge the two views of the world.

You understand the funding channels within Europe and the business models of the market. You have an existing network at senior level into the main players in European space.


  • 5+ years experience in similar role in the space domain
  • A solid network into European space organizations

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A realistic view on sales in the European space market
  • Overview of the European space ecosystem; players, business models and funding channels
  • Understanding of satellite ground segments
  • Structured methods for business development
  • Ability to perform structured analyses of markets and define strategies
  • Experience in working integrated with delivery teams
