Terma Aerostructures in Grenaa is a leading supplier of advanced aircraft parts to the global civil and military aircraft industry. Over the past five years, we have invested heavily in processes, machinery and infrastructure, so that our factory is geared for competitive production in a demanding international market.

We work with Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and British Aerospace, which are some of the largest manufacturers in the defense and aerospace industries, and we are a recognized supplier to the “world’s largest industrial project”, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.

In Terma in Grenaa, approx. 550 employees, of which approx. 430 in production.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • As a production manager in our factory in Grenaa, you will work closely with the other five production managers as well as with the management for QC, logistics / planning, PTA and the department for maintenance. As a production manager, you are an active participant in the expanded management team with a focus on ensuring a constructive daily collaboration with internal stakeholders and maintaining a good dialogue with your internal customers.
  • You will have direct personnel management by a team of 50 employees, predominantly skilled and apprentices with the support of coordinators and technicians in your department, who are part of our Metal value stream.
  • Through board meetings, lean tools, operations and personnel management, you run an efficient production with a sure hand with stable production processes and a process flow that ensures a consistent quality and an optimal production result every day. You are an active participant in determining the production plan for your areas and, in collaboration with your coordinators, take responsibility for the production plan for your department being implemented as agreed.

Qualifications and experience

  • You are a technically based leader with a capital L and have a background that enables you to understand and lead the work with modern metalworking processes in collaboration with engineers, programmers and quality specialists.
  • You have several years of experience in managing hourly employees and preferably in a production company.
  • You master the general administrative IT tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word and master English in both writing and speaking.

You have a natural impact and a personal drive, and you have the courage and ability to make and implement decisions that ensure delivery and quality according to agreements.
