Thales is supplying ground transportation solutions to the main and urban rail lines in the area of signalling and fare collection.

In the frame of its development in Thailand, Thales is recruiting an Account Manager for Aerospace and Security.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Main customers : Civil Aviation, ATM Authority (Aerothai), Airlines, Air Force, Ministry of Interior, Police
  • Manage all aspects of customer relations in order to position the full Thales portfolio to the customers and generate short to long-term opportunities.
  • Build strategic Business Capture plans in cooperation with the Exporting Units
  • Be a Key contributor to qualify opportunities, define and implement winning strategy, with relevant associated action plans. Participates actively to opportunity and tender reviews.
  • Provides all necessary information on market analysis, competition, business risk and opportunities. Monitor and updates business pipe data in coordination with Exporting units.
  • Provides information on the evolution of customer’s organizations and decision-making processes.
  • Contributes to the customer satisfaction thru-life of systems and cooperates to the proper programme execution (maintenance, training, etc.)
  • Provides input for company strategy and develops the Key Accounts/Country Plans

 

Experience

The job holder needs:

  • >10 years experience in the Aerospace sector
  • Master Degree, ideally from an international university / business or engineering school
  • A strong background in Business Development/Sales for high value solutions.
  • Key Account management experience and Capture Leadership.
  • Proven experience of working within a large multi-national organization.
  • Significant experience in complex business dealings with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Skills

  • Ability to manage, listen, communicate and interact with multiple cultures, personalities and across functional and horizontal layers of key decision makers (internally as well as externally)
  • Highly motivated to operate in a complex business environment
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in an excellent team spirit
  • Ability to rapidly acquire deep knowledge and capacity to present the Group’s offers to customers.
  • Capacity to transfer knowledge of local environments to Western interfaces
  • Ability to strategize in a new market/country and proof of successfully making it into a reality.
  • Proficiency in building effective, incisive power point presentations.
  • Strong business ethics

 

The position is located in Bangkok, reporting to the Country Director
