We are recruiting a Cyber Security Engineer to support our team in projects with the European Union and the European Space Agency.

You will design and develop the next generation of cyber security systems to protect European space infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Activities of the Cyber Security Engineer include the following tasks:

• Performing security analysis of space systems and infrastructure
• Definition and implementation of cyber security requirements
• Participating in the design and development of cyber security software solutions
• Deployment of security solutions to existing infrastructure

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in cyber security, computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of cyber security concepts and systems
• Experience in software development for Unix systems
• Excellent knowledge of either C++ or Java
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language like Python
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, Git and CI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of space-specific protocols or software is optional
